- Dr. Andrea Gabrielli is a Diplomate of the Italian Board of General Surgery, the American Board of Anesthesiology and holds a certificate of special qualifications in Critical Care Medicine. He completed Fellowships in Cardiothoracic Anesthesiology at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation in 1992 and in Critical Care Medicine at the University of Florida in 1993. Dr. Gabrielli is the Medical Director of the Hyperbaric Chamber at Shands Hospital and the Medical Director of Respiratory Therapy at the University of Florida. His clinical research interests include critical care medicine, liver transplantation, vascular and cardiac anesthesia, cardiopulmonary resuscitation, hyperbaric medicine and mechanical ventilation. Dr. Gabrielli is a member of the American Heart Association National Basic Life Support Committee and the Educational Committee of the American Society of Critical Care Anesthesiology.
